MoPH Continues Private Hospital Accreditation and Ranking Process in Kabul
The Ministry of Public Health's Deputy Minister for Health Services, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, visited Khan Hospital in Kabul as part of the ongoing accreditation and ranking process for private hospitals.
During the visit, the Deputy Minister for Health Services said: “The Ministry of Public Health has launched the hospital assessment process based on scientific standards with the aim of standardizing healthcare services and ensuring patient safety. Following sustained efforts and the necessary preparations, the process is being carried out by a trained professional team.”
The Deputy Minister also instructed the accreditation team to conduct the process with full transparency and due diligence, thereby helping ensure that the public has access to quality healthcare services.
It is worth noting that the accreditation and ranking process for private hospitals will initially be implemented in Kabul and will subsequently be extended to all private hospitals in the provinces.
