MoPH Holds Online Talks with IsDB and DDCL on 100-Bed Cardiac Hospital in Kabul

va An online meeting was held between officials of the Ministry of Public Health and representatives of the Islamic Development Bank and Bangladesh’s DDCL companies to discuss the construction of a 100-bed cardiac hospital in Kabul.

The meeting brought together Mawlawi Mohammad Dawood Mansoori, Director of International Relations and Aid Coordination; Dr. Wahdat Alokozai, Director General of Curative Medicine; Dr. Sayed Rasool Mangal, Director General of Planning and Policy; Dr. Hadidullah Zakari, Advisor to the Minister’s Office; and Eng. Mirwais Rahimi, Head of Construction. Discussions focused on the project’s master plan, documentation, and detailed design.

Representatives of the Islamic Development Bank and Bangladeshi companies presented the hospital’s master plan and design. Ministry of Public Health officials provided feedback and requested the documents for further review.

It was agreed that a follow-up meeting on this issue will be held in person in the near future between officials of the Ministry of Public Health and representatives of the Islamic Development Bank and Bangladesh’s DDCL companies.
