MoPH Health Laws Enforcement Director Assesses Healthcare Services in Northwestern Provinces
Mawlawi Mahmoodullah Zahid, Director of Health Laws Enforcement and Inspection of the Ministry of Public Health, and a technical delegation visited the northwestern provinces to assess the health situation.
They met with Mawlawi Lutfullah Habibi, Director of Public Health of Samangan Province, and inspected the provincial hospital, along with a number of private sector health facilities and hospitals.
Furthermore, during the inspections, the quality of health services, patient care, availability of healthcare workers, staff attendance and discipline, the availability of medicines and medical equipment, laboratory services, hygiene and sanitation, infection prevention and control measures, record-keeping and reporting systems, and the overall condition of the hospitals were assessed in line with the MoPH’s standards.
Recommendations were made to improve the quality of healthcare services, ensure adherence to infection prevention and control measures, make effective use of available resources, and provide patients and other service users with quality healthcare.
