MoPH Conducts Inspections in Kabul to Improve Air Quality and Prevent Respiratory Diseases

Officials of the Air Pollution Control Department of the Environmental Health Directorate of the MoPH conducted inspections in various properties in Kabul city to prevent respiratory diseases and improve air quality.

During the inspection, relevant checklists were completed, and commitments were obtained from the facility owners that they would not operate without smoke purification systems in the future.

In addition, health messages, awareness leaflets, and the air pollution reduction guidelines were explained and distributed to the facility owners so that they can align their activities with the standards of the Environmental Health Directorate.
