MoPH Assesses Healthcare Services at Health Facilities in Herat Province

The Director of Evaluation, Analysis and Data Analytics of the Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Khan Muslim, assessed health services at several Comprehensive Health Centers and the Guzra District Hospital during his visit to Herat Province.

During the assessment, the quality of healthcare services, the process of service delivery to patients, the availability and work discipline of healthcare staff, the availability and management of medicines and medical equipment, the status of laboratory services, vaccination services, hygiene and sanitation, maternal and child health services, the health information recording and reporting system, hospital cleanliness, and compliance with infection prevention and control (IPC) standards were evaluated in accordance with the Ministry of Public Health's established standards.

The assessment also emphasized improving the quality of healthcare services, ensuring adherence to professional principles for the prevention and control of communicable diseases, making effective use of available resources, and delivering quality, standardized healthcare services to patients.
