The meeting was held in the presence of the Deputy Minister for Health Services, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, central directors of the Ministry, and representatives of national and international organizations.

Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani called on donors supporting health services to prepare their organizations, in coordination with the Ministry, to better manage emergencies and the influx of returnees to the country, ensuring the provision of necessary services when needed.

He added that this preparedness includes providing essential health kits, supplying medicines and medical consumables to health facilities, deploying mobile health teams, arranging additional beds and referral systems, and ensuring vaccination, nutrition, and maternal and child health services to support patients and returnees during emergencies.

Representatives of national and international organizations and donors of the Ministry of Public Health pledged to provide full support and cooperation with the Ministry in this regard. They also shared their suggestions and challenges with the leadership of the Ministry of Public Health and were assured that the issues would be addressed.
