Minister of Public Health Meets New Save the Children Afghanistan Director to Strengthen Maternal and Child Health Services

In his official office, the Minister of Public Health of the IEA, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, held a meeting with the newly appointed Director of Save the Children for Afghanistan to discuss improving maternal and child health services.

The meeting, attended by the new Director of Save the Children for Afghanistan, Bojar Hoja, and former Director Arshad Malik, focused on improving maternal and child health services, mobilizing donor support, expanding health center services, and increasing child health projects.

The Minister of Public Health commended the services provided by the former director, Arshad Malik, welcomed the newly appointed director, Bojar Hoja, and shared his guidance on the development of health services, assuring full cooperation in these areas.

The new director of Save the Children for Afghanistan pledged to strengthen maternal and child health services, expand the number of health centers, and increase child health–related projects across Afghanistan.
