Minister of Public Health Leads Technical Delegation to Assess and Improve Healthcare Services in Badghis Province

The Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, embarked on an official visit to Badghis province, accompanied by a joint technical delegation, to carry out a comprehensive evaluation of the region’s healthcare services.

As part of the visit, and under the direct instruction of the Minister, the joint technical team carried out an on-the-ground inspection of the Basic Health Center in Muqur District. The team identified multiple service gaps across various departments and engaged with the center’s staff and leadership to map out solutions and set improvement strategies in motion.

Healthcare workers at the center pledged their commitment to addressing the shortfalls and tabled a set of practical recommendations aimed at boosting service quality. The technical team, in turn, gave assurances that the concerns would be taken up and addressed accordingly.
