Minister of Public Health and Nangarhar Governor Visit Kunar’s Earthquake-Affected Areas

The Minister of Public Health, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, accompanied by the Governor of Nangarhar, Haji Mullah Muhammad Naeem Akhund, and several other ministers of the Islamic Emirate, visited Mazar Dara region of Nur Gul district in Kunar province. During their visit, they provided support to local health services and met closely with the families affected by the recent events.

The visit, which took place on the second day after the devastating earthquake, included an assessment of health services by the Minister of Public Health. He met closely with the victims’ families and the injured, listened to their needs and concerns, and assured them of full cooperation. The Minister also issued necessary instructions to health workers to deliver quality and effective services, ensuring that the injured receive the essential medical care they require.

The Minister of Public Health first convened a coordination meeting in Khas Kunar district to organize assistance and provide essential equipment, assuring that the support would quickly reach the affected areas, and emphasized that the needs of the injured and victims would be addressed without delay.
