The purpose of this visit was to further reinforce Afghanistan's steadfast commitment and resolve in combating polio. During the visit, Dr. Baryali held discussions with local teams, emphasizing the critical importance of their roles in this essential endeavor.

Additionally, Dr. Baryali participated in specialized training sessions on Interpersonal Communication (IPC) and cold chain management, tailored for cluster supervisors and coordinators. The objective of these training programs was to enhance the efficiency of vaccine administration, strengthen public confidence, improve the vaccine storage process, and address region-specific challenges.

Furthermore, frontline workers were urged to ensure that every child receives the vaccine, as their unwavering commitment is fundamental to the success of the national polio eradication efforts.
