Deputy Minister of Health Services inaugurates a healthcare facility in the Shihabuddin area of the Surobi district

During a visit to Paktika province, Mawalwi Abdul Wali Haqqani, the Deputy Minister of Health Services at the Ministry of Public Health, together with his delegation, inaugurated a healthcare facility in the Shihabuddin area of the Surobi district.

At the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Haqqani articulated that, in addition to the establishment of this healthcare facility, the construction of five additional health centers in Paktika province had also been finalized. He emphasized that these facilities had been realized through financial support from UNFPA and technical collaboration with AYSO, with each center representing an investment of approximately $29,500.

He further asserted that this initiative constitutes a substantial advancement for the healthcare sector in Paktika.

Moreover, during the ceremony, Mawlawi Haqqani assured the attendees of the Ministry's steadfast commitment to the ongoing expansion of analogous health services in the region. The event was notably attended by Dr. Abdullah Jan Haqmal, the Director of Public Health for Paktika, in addition to local tribal leaders and residents of the Surobi district.
