Deputy Minister for Health Promotion and Policy Meets Daikundi Governor to Review Healthcare Expansion Plans

During his visit to Daikundi Province, Mohammad Hassan Ghiyasi, Deputy Minister for Health Promotion and Policy of the Ministry of Public Health, met with the provincial governor, Alajj Mawlawi Najibullah Rafi.

During the meeting, the Deputy Minister shared the main objectives of his visit, which included assessing the quality of healthcare services in the province, identifying districts for the construction of general hospitals, and addressing the needs and concerns of local residents.

Mr. Ghiyasi stated: “In order to ensure that all citizens have access to quality healthcare services, the Ministry of Public Health has launched a comprehensive program to expand healthcare provision. As part of this national initiative, the construction of district-level general hospitals is ongoing across 318 districts, including Daikundi Province, where hospital construction projects will also commence in several districts in the near future.”

The Governor of Daikundi welcomed the Deputy Minister, praised his visit, and expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Ministry of Public Health for taking concrete steps to improve the province’s healthcare system and provide essential healthcare services to residents in remote areas.
