Deputy Minister Haqqani Meets Handicap International Officials to Address Health Needs of Earthquake Victims in Nangarhar

The deputy minister for Health Services of the Ministry of Public Health of the IEA, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, during his visit to Nangarhar, held a meeting with the officials of Handicap International Organization at the provincial Public Health Directorate to address the health issues of earthquake-affected citizens.

The meeting, which was also attended by the delegation and the Director of Public Health of Nangarhar, Mawlawi Aminullah Sharif, the Deputy Minister instruct the organization’s officials to deploy their medical teams to the Nangarhar Regional Hospital to effectively address the health needs of earthquake-affected citizens and to deliver their medical aid and food supplies to the victims in a transparent manner, in coordination with the designated committee.

The officials of the organization, in turn, assured their full cooperation and commitment in this matter.
