An administrative meeting was held at the Professor Ghazanfar Institute of Health Sciences, bringing together the institute’s leadership and senior officials to review key academic and administrative matters.

The meeting was attended by the institute’s director, Dr Mohammad Qasim Adel; the academic and teaching head, Dr Abdul Sattar Jabarzai; the head for provincial academic and technical affairs, Dr Mohammad Asif Shahidi; the finance and administrative head, Baryal Esmati; and, representing the Norwegian Committee, the institute’s senior adviser, Dr Miragha Gulabzai.

Discussions focused on the creation of staff positions for the Traditional Medicine Department, the launch of a three-year pilot programme in Prosthetics and Orthotics, and the establishment of posts for an ICU specialised nursing programme planned for 1405. Officials also reviewed provincial visits, the overall organisational structure, plans to install water purification machines in dormitories and offices, and the admission of central and provincial students for the year 1405.

The meeting concluded with a decision for relevant departments to share the proposals with the Ministry of Public Health and take the necessary steps towards implementation.
