150 Tons of Substandard Food and Medicine Destroyed in Herat

Herat, Afghanistan – The Directorate of Public Health in Herat, through its Food and Pharmaceutical Department, successfully disposed of 150 tons of expired and substandard food and medicine following a meticulous ten-month inspection campaign in the province’s industrial zone. The identified goods were removed from establishments and destroyed, marking a significant step in enforcing stricter health and safety regulations.
