Minister of Public Health Visits Nangarhar Food and Drug Quality Assessment Laboratory

During his visit to Nangarhar, the Minister of Public Health Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, accompanied by a delegation, visited the Food and Drug Quality Assessment Laboratory.

During the visit, Deputy Minister for Food and Drugs Mawlawi Hamdullah Zahid and Nangarhar Director of Public Health Mawlawi Aminullah Sharif were also present. The Nangarhar Director of Public Health briefed the Minister and his delegation on the progress of the construction work, noting that 95 percent of the facility has been completed. He added that only the administrative section is currently operational, while the other sections have yet to become operational.

Furthermore, the Minister of Public Health and the Deputy Minister for Food and Drugs assured that the remaining work on the facility would be completed soon, noting that the eastern zone would soon have a large, well-equipped, and fully standardized laboratory.
