MoPH Conducts Inspections to Reduce Air Pollution and Prevent Respiratory Diseases in Kabul
The Environmental Health Directorate of the Ministry of Public Health, through its Air Pollution Control and Reduction Department, conducted inspections of various establishments in Kabul city to help prevent respiratory diseases and curb air pollution.
During the inspections, the relevant checklists were completed, and the owners and responsible officials were instructed to obtain the required health cards. They also gave assurances that they would not operate their establishments without proper smoke-filtration systems in place.
Furthermore, health messages, awareness materials, and the Guidelines on Air Pollution Reduction were explained and distributed to the responsible officials, with a view to ensuring that their operations comply with the standards and requirements of the Ministry of Public Health.
