A number of private health facilities in Takhar province were inspected

Officials from the General Directorate for Monitoring the Implementation of Health Regulations of the Provincial Public Health Department of Takhar carried out inspections at the Ten-Bed Cataghan Medical Hospital, the Afghan Turk Child and Maternal Care Clinic in Taloqan city, as well as several major drug wholesale centers, pharmacies, and medical consultation centers in the province.

During these inspections, a quantity of expired and substandard medicines was collected from wholesale drug stores and pharmacies and transferred to the central warehouse of the Provincial Public Health Directorate for proper disposal.

In addition, several illegal signboards and advertisements were removed, and the responsible individuals were instructed to ensure that their services are aligned with the standards of the Ministry of Public Health.
