Inspections Conducted at Pharmacies and Grocery Stores in Bamyan and Herat

The monitoring, conducted by the provincial supervision and inspection departments, resulted in the collection of 24 expired and substandard medicines in Herat province, and 296 food items and 141 expired and substandard medicines in Bamyan province, which were transferred to the central warehouse for destruction.

Public health officials in these provinces stated that the purpose of these measures is to protect public health and prevent substandard goods from entering the market. They encouraged all food and medicine sellers to carefully observe expiration dates and comply with health standards.
