Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali Calls for Improved Healthcare Quality and Stronger Oversight in Nationwide Coordination Meeting

Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, held a coordination meeting with provincial health officials from the eastern, northern, and north-eastern zones.

The Minister emphasized the provision of quality and standardized healthcare services and instructed officials to implement the Ministry’s new policies effectively, ensure transparent use of internal budget resources, and strengthen supervision over public and private health facilities.

The provincial officials also committed to implementing the shared recommendations and presented their issues and suggestions to the Minister, including staffing of health personnel, salaries, expansion of health facilities, medical and non-medical equipment, and renovation of hospitals.

In conclusion, H.E Jalali assured that the raised issues would be addressed and urged officials to make proper use of available resources to provide standard healthcare services to the people.
