Mosquito Larvae Eradication Campaign Launched in Kabul City

The Ministry of Public Health’s Malaria and Vector-Borne Diseases Control Program has launched a larviciding campaign in Kabul City to eliminate mosquito larvae.

The campaign aims to prevent mosquito-borne diseases and protect public health by reducing the spread of malaria, and other vector-borne diseases.

As part of the campaign, larvicides are being applied in areas of Kabul City where stagnant water and other conditions provide suitable breeding sites for mosquitoes. The larvicides kill mosquito larvae, thereby helping to prevent the development and proliferation of adult mosquitoes.

The Ministry of Public Health continuously strives to reduce the incidence of malaria and other vector-borne diseases through preventive programs and to take the necessary measures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for the public.
