A significant contribution of medical equipment was made to enhance healthcare services in Nangarhar province.

The initiative, undertaken by UNICEF, involved the provision of six types of essential medical supplies. Among the notable items were 15 state-of-the-art ultrasound machines, a variety of specialized maternal and child health equipment, and advanced oxygen analyzers. These critical resources are set to benefit not only the provincial hospital but also healthcare facilities across various districts, ensuring improved accessibility and quality of medical care for communities in need.
