Visit Conducted to Assess Condition of Child Injured in Last Night’s Earthquake
Acting upon the special directive of the Minister of Public Health, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, a high-level delegation led by Dr. Sharafat Zaman Amarkhail, Director and Spokesperson of Information, and Public Relations, paid an official visit to Indira Gandhi Children’s National and Specialized Hospital to evaluate the medical condition of Arash, the sole surviving orphan of last night’s devastating earthquake in Kabul’s Gosfand Darah area.
The child, aged approximately three, tragically lost eight members of his immediate family—including his parents and siblings—as a result of the earthquake.
The leadership of the Ministry of Public Health has expressed profound grief over the incident and has issued clear instructions to healthcare personnel to undertake all necessary measures to ensure the child receives comprehensive treatment, proper care, and a full recovery.
The Ministry further reaffirms its unwavering commitment to delivering essential healthcare services and extending full support to citizens affected by natural disasters.
