Inspections conducted across the private health sector, food outlets, and several other facilities in Laghman, Logar, and Paktika provinces

The monitoring activities were conducted over the past month by the public health officials of these provinces. In the course of these inspections, 299 various facilities in Laghman Province were inspected, leading to the closure of 10 health facilities for non-compliance with public health laws. Moreover, 129 items of substandard and expired medicines and foodstuffs were collected.

Paktika Province, 149 different facilities were monitored, resulting in the detection and collection of 292 expired medicines and health products.

Logar Province saw the inspection of 61 different facilities, resulting in the closure of 7 facilities and the collection of 32 items of substandard food products and medicines.
