Nangarhar & Zabul — The Department of Monitoring and Inspection has recently conducted official oversight of several pharmacies in Nangarhar and Zabul provinces to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

During the inspections, officials collected a total of 50 kilograms of expired medicines from pharmacies located in Districts 1 and 2 of Nangarhar Province. In Zabul Province, 19 types of expired pharmaceutical products were identified and removed from various districts. All expired drugs were transported to the central warehouse for proper disposal.

Authorities also issued formal recommendations to pharmacy staff, emphasizing the need to improve service quality and to comply strictly with relevant legal standards. They warned that failure to adhere to these guidelines would result in legal action.
