A capacity-building and public awareness program on healthy nutrition was held for teachers at Fatih Maiwand High School

The program was held for more than 30 teachers at Fatih Maiwand High School by a team of experts from the Food Analysis and Surveillance Directorate under the Afghanistan Food and Drug Authority of the Ministry of Public Health.

During the programme, the benefits of healthy food and safe potable water for concentration, memory, and cognitive performance were highlighted. Discussions also covered the importance of a balanced diet and the risks of consuming substandard and unhealthy food.

The dietitian also emphasized that healthy nutrition is essential for students’ physical well-being and plays a key role in improving academic performance, boosting motivation, and supporting the healthy development of the country’s future generation.
