The Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has officially inaugurated the Burn Surgery Hospital, which boasts a 24-bed capacity, in Mazar-i-Sharif city following its comprehensive expansion and renovation.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mawlawi Mohammad Ishaq Sahebzada, the deputy minister for Finance and Administration at the Ministry of Public Health, Alhaj Rahmatullah Mansoor, the Director of Public Health for Balkh Province, and several other senior officials.

During the ceremony, Mawlawi Mohammad Ishaq Sahebzada remarked, "The renovation and expansion of this hospital required an investment of 15,000 US dollars from the Ministry of Public Health. The objective of this investment is to provide high-standard healthcare services to the residents of Mazar-i-Sharif and the northern regions of the country."

He further noted that although the hospital is initially designed to accommodate 24 patients, it is capable of expanding to 35 beds if necessary, thereby ensuring the provision of comprehensive healthcare services as required.
