The equipment was procured by UNICEF at a cost of USD 50,000 and distributed to hospitals and health facilities based on their needs.

During the handover ceremony, the Director of Public Health of Nangarhar, Al-Haj Mawlawi Aminullah Sharif, highlighted the importance of the equipment and assured that it would be used effectively for patient care.

He also urged health officials to ensure proper use and maintenance of the supplies.
