Dr. Naqeebullah Fateh Appointed as the New Director of Helmand Public Health Directorate

Pursuant to the recommendation of the senior leadership of the Ministry of Public Health and ratified by the Supreme Council of Ministers, Dr. Naqeebullah Fateh has been designated as the new Director of Public Health for Helmand Province.

He was formally acquainted with the officials of the provincial Public Health Directorate by Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, Deputy Minister for Health Services, in the presence of representatives from diverse provincial administrations.

Deputy Minister Haqqani characterized the leadership transition as a fundamental principle of the Islamic governance framework and conveyed his best wishes for the new director’s successful stewardship of the province’s public health affairs.
