Director of Public Nutrition Assesses Earthquake Response in Nangarhar and Kunar

The Director of Public Nutrition of the Ministry of Public Health, along with his accompanying team, traveled to Nangarhar and Kunar provinces to visit and assess the nutrition services provided to families affected by the earthquake.

During this visit, Dr. Hekmatullah Masoomi, Director of Public Nutrition at the Ministry of Public Health, accompanied by a technical team, held an emergency meeting with the heads of all institutions in Nangarhar province that provide nutrition and health services.

The meeting, held in the conference hall of the Nangarhar Public Health Directorate, brought together officials from all institutions to present reports on their nutrition service activities. The Director of Public Nutrition emphasized that in such emergency situations, public nutrition services must be strengthened and delivered to affected citizens with full dedication and integrity.
