Ghazni Governor Meets Public Health Minister to Discuss Hospital Completion and Healthcare Improvements

The Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, met in his office with the Governor of Ghazni, Mawlawi Abdul Samad Javid.

The meeting, which was also attended by the Director of Public Health of Ghazni, Dr. Mohammad Zarak Zeerak, focused on key issues such as the completion of the remaining construction work of the regional hospital, enhancing the quality and accessibility of healthcare services, securing an increased budget allocation for the upcoming fiscal year, and addressing existing challenges in healthcare facilities.

The Governor of Ghazni underscored the urgency of expediting the completion of the regional hospital, boosting financial resources for the next year, and resolving ongoing obstacles to ensure adequate medical care for patients in the province. He urged the leadership of the Ministry of Public Health to extend its full support in these matters.

In response, the Minister acknowledged these concerns and assured the Governor that the hospital’s pending construction work would resume, healthcare services would be expanded, and existing challenges would be systematically addressed.

It is noteworthy that the remaining work on the Ghazni Regional Hospital is set to be completed in the near future.
