The Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, His Highness, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, met with Japanese Ambassador Takayoshi Kuromiya to discuss expanding health sector cooperation

The Minister expressed gratitude for Japan's ongoing support and outlined the Ministry’s new national policies, aimed at improving coordination, reducing inefficiencies, addressing current health issues, and advancing a self-sustaining health system.

The Japanese Ambassador reaffirmed Japan's commitment to continued collaboration in the sector.
