A cornerstone for a healthcare facility, with an investment of 17.4 million Afghanis, was ceremoniously laid by the Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in Kurdun village, Qushtepa district, Jawzjan province, amidst a series of formal proceedings.

The event was graced by the presence of Maulvi Mohammad Ishaq Sahibzada, Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration for the Ministry of Public Health, along with Qari Zabihullah Hussaini, the Director of Public Health for Jawzjan province, along with tribal elders, distinguished scholars, and a number of other prominent figures.

In his inaugural address, Maulvi Mohammad Ishaq Sahibzada articulated that the Afghan populace has endured profound suffering over recent decades. In response, the Islamic Emirate, particularly through its Ministry of Public Health, is committed to the establishment of healthcare centers in neglected and remote regions, often termed 'white areas,' with the objective of addressing and ameliorating the health challenges faced by the populace and significantly expanding the breadth of healthcare services.

He further elaborated that this healthcare facility, projected for completion within six months at a cost of 17.4 million Afghanis, is intended to deliver essential medical services to approximately 5,000 families.

Simultaneously, local residents conveyed their profound satisfaction and gratitude regarding the establishment of this healthcare center, commending the health officials for delivering a critical resource previously lacking in their region.
