Meeting at MoPH’s Directorate of Curative Medicine Addresses Key Challenges and Expansion of Healthcare services Facing Physical Rehabilitation Hospital

Senior health officials, including Dr. Wahdat Alokozai, Director General of Curative Medicine; Dr. Aminullah Momand, Director of Specialized and Tertiary Hospitals; and Dr. Asadullah Esmat, Director of Sheikh Zayed National and Specialized Neuroscience Hospital, convened with representatives of the Physical Rehabilitation Hospital for Persons with Disabilities to review persistent challenges, evaluate the facility’s organizational framework, and streamline staff training initiatives. A dedicated committee was also formed to ensure the timely and appropriate provision of essential medical equipment.

Dr. Wahdat Alokozai underscored the need for a comprehensive assessment of the hospital's operations and called for decisive, evidence-based measures to enhance services. He stressed that the hospital must provide efficient, high-quality, and people-centered care aligned with national healthcare priorities.
