The inspections were conducted by public health officials in the provinces to ensure compliance with health laws and protect public health. As a result, six pharmacies in Khost province, as well as two pharmacies and two medical clinics in Balkh province, were closed for violating health regulations.

Also, in Khost province, 45 kilograms of expired medicines and food items were collected and sent to the central warehouse for disposal.
