Around 28 Tons of Substandard and Expired Medicines and Food Items were Disposed of in Paktia Province

The items, seized from the provincial center and districts by officials of the Paktia Public Health Directorate, were destroyed in the presence of the Director of Public Health and a designated committee.

Dr. Miraj Gul Adil, Director of Public Health in Paktia, assured the public that monitoring will continue to ensure the supply of high-quality medicines and food products and to safeguard people’s health.
