7 Tons of Expired Food and Beverages Destroyed in Helmand's Sangin District
The expired food items and beverages were collected from the Sangin district market by the relevant authorities' joint committee and were destroyed in the presence of several officials.
Public Health officials instructed wholesale dealers and food establishment managers to only market products after obtaining an official permit and passing quality checks by accredited labs, ensuring citizens receive safe, high-quality goods. They warned that violations of health regulations would result in legal action.
