Public Awareness Campaign on Cholera Prevention Conducted in Kabul

The Ministry of Public Health through the Environmental Health Directorate, carried out public awareness campaign in several schools and childcare centers of Kabul’s 10th and 15th districts to prevent Cholera.

In this campaign, 4,000 teachers and students received health guidelines and information on cholera prevention. Additionally, 2,500 information sheets were distributed and explained in appropriate locations within schools and childcare centers to help prevent the spread of the disease and safeguard student’s health.

Additionally, officials from the Environmental Health Directorate provided necessary recommendations to teachers and staff in a various schools and childcare centers to maintain proper hygiene and obtain health cards, with the aim of ensuring a safe educational environment for students.
