The inspection, carried out by the Food Facility Monitoring Team of the Public Health Directorate, led to the collection of expired food products from stores in Matun city, the capital of Khost. These products were subsequently handed over to the Khost Public Health Directorate for proper disposal.

Additionally, eight salt production factories were inspected, resulting in the closure of four factories due to substandard operations and lack of licenses. The relevant officials were also provided with necessary recommendations regarding health cards and hygiene compliance.
