The meeting was chaired by Dr. Mohammad Hassan Ghiyasi, Deputy Minister for Health Development and Policy, and attended by Director Generals, advisors to the Minister, representatives of the Ministry’s deputy ministries, and representatives of various institutions. Held at the Office of the Deputy Ministry for Health Development and Policy, the meeting provided a platform for participants to share their views and recommendations on the costing of the National Health Strategy.

After hearing the participants’ views, the Deputy Minister directed that a committee be established comprising technical representatives from various institutions, including the Ministry’s deputy ministries and directorates, as well as representatives of the World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, and the World Bank. The committee will be tasked with developing a structured plan for costing the National Health Strategy, which will be presented and discussed at the next meeting.
