Aid Provided to Flood-Affected People in Nuristan to Support the Delivery of Healthcare Services

The Ministry of Public Health’s Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR) team, handed over assistance provided by the Laghman Provincial Public Health Directorate to the Deputy Governor and Director of Public Health of Nuristan Province. which included medicines, medical supplies, and cash, was intended to support the provision of quality healthcare services to people affected by the recent floods in the province.

Nuristan’s Deputy Governor, Mawlawi Faisal Mukhtar, expressed his appreciation to the Laghman Provincial Public Health Directorate and, in particular, the Ministry of Public Health for their timely response to the recent incident in Nuristan and for providing the assistance.
