The Ministry of Public Health Holds Opening Ceremony for Second Ultrasound Training Course at Radiology Institute
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Wahdat Alokozai, Director General of Curative Medicine of the Ministry of Public Health; Dr. Mohammad Qasim Sahebi, Director of Diagnostic Services; Dr. Ahmad Farshid Mohammadi, Director of Academic Affairs Coordination of the Postgraduate Medical Studies; Dr. Awal Khan Shafaq, Head of the Radiology Institute; along with other officials, healthcare professionals, and ultrasound trainees.
Dr. Wahdat Alokozai, Director General of Curative Medicine, emphasized the importance of ultrasound examinations in disease diagnosis and urged the trainees to take their studies seriously and avoid absenteeism.
Dr. Wahdat Alokozai also said that the Ministry of Public Health has stepped up efforts to improve the quality of healthcare services and expand access to them, with the aim of addressing people’s health needs and ensuring easier access to essential healthcare services.
Meanwhile, the Directors of Academic Affairs Coordination and Diagnostic Services of the Postgraduate Medical Studies emphasized the importance of maintaining high quality training and ensuring transparency throughout the examination process. They also highlighted the need to continue similar programs in the future.
