Ministry of Public Health Conducts Transparent Recruitment Exam to Appoint Skilled Medical Professional

The Ministry of Public Health has conducted a competitive examination to fill 129 professional vacancies in its central specialized and tertiary hospitals through a transparent and merit-based process.

This examination was organized by the Administrative Reforms and Civil Service Commission and administered across various medical disciplines, with 243 qualified candidates participating. The opening ceremony was attended by Mullah Bakht-ur-Rahman Sharafat, Deputy Minister for Finance and Administration; Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, Deputy Minister for Health Services; several senior officials from the Ministry; Sheikh Mawlawi Mohammad Tawoos Tariq, Director of the Civil Service and Administrative Reforms Commission; Mawlawi Mohammad Hanan Haqqani, Director of Recruitment Affairs Facilitation for Civil Servants; and other key officials.

In his address, Mullah Bakht-ur-Rahman Sharafat, Deputy Minister for Finance and Administration, underscored the critical need for competent professionals in the medical sector. He assured candidates that the selection process would be conducted with the highest standards of transparency, fairness, and inclusivity, ensuring that appointments are based strictly on merit and without linguistic, regional, or ethnic bias.

Similarly, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, Deputy Minister for Health Services, reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening the healthcare system through the recruitment of skilled professionals. He emphasized that enhancing healthcare services with qualified personnel is a top priority, ensuring that all citizens receive high-quality medical care.

Additionally, Irfanullah Karimi, Director General of Employee Affairs at the Ministry of Public Health; Sheikh Mawlawi Mohammad Tawoos Tariq, Director of the Administrative Reforms and Civil Service Commission; and Mawlawi Mohammad Hanan Haqqani, Director of Recruitment Affairs Facilitation for Civil Servants, delivered remarks to the candidates, encouraging them and expressing confidence in their abilities.
