Biography of Al-Haj Dr. Qalandar Ebad
Acting Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan
Alhaj Dr. Qalandar Ebad s/o Ali Jan was born in 1980 in Marzak village, Sarhawza district of Paktika province in a religious, enlightened, knowledgeable and Mujahid family. Alhaj Dr. Ebad received his primary education from Hazrat Imam Hussian and Bibi Ayesha School in Peshawar. Then, he was admitted to the Faculty of Medicine of Nangarhar University. Dr. Ebad has received his medical degree (MD) from Nangarhar University. He has done his master’s in MS Urology from Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, Islamabad. In addition to having a good command of national languages of Afghanistan, Alhaj Dr. Qalandar Ebad speaks English and Urdu.
In addition, he has participated in one-day and three-day national and international conferences held on different health areas. Also, he has provided health services to his countrymen by working with the private health sector inside and outside the country.
As the Acting Minister of the Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Dr. Qalandar Ebad is committed to implementing the principle of good governance at the Ministry and tries to ensure that all the Afghan nation living in any part of Afghanistan receive standard and quality health services in the light of Islamic and Sharia principles and national values without any discrimination.
