Minister of Public Health meets with JICA office for Afghanistan

Respected Dr Qalandar Ebad, Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, held discussions and exchanged views with the administrative official of the JICA office for Afghanistan during his official visit to Qatar.

During this meeting, the focus was on the delivery of effective and sustainable healthcare services, with thorough deliberations and exchanges of ideas taking place.

Dr Ebad stated, "Afghanistan is now a secure country, and the conditions for traveling to every district and village are favourable. Therefore, it is essential to ensure equitable healthcare services for all Afghans."

Furthermore, Dr Ebad emphasized that some healthcare projects in the country have been short-term and had limited impact. He expressed the commitment to prioritize long-term and sustainable projects that have a greater impact on the people and address their challenges effectively.
