Minister of Public Health Inspects Key Departments at Samangan Hospital, Pledges Action on Challenges

Samangan, Afghanistan – During his official visit to Samangan province, the Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, H.E. Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, along with his accompanying delegation, conducted a visit to the internal medicine and infectious disease departments of the Samangan Provincial Hospital to observe the ongoing service delivery processes.

Accompanied by Sheikh Mohammad Taher Haleem, Director of the Office of the Minister, Mawlawi Lutfullah Habibi; Director of Samangan Public Health; and other senior delegates, the Minister toured various sections of the internal and infectious disease departments. During this inspection, several challenges were identified, which were later discussed with hospital officials and healthcare staff in a formal meeting aimed at finding appropriate solutions.

In the course of the meeting, the hospital’s leadership and staff committed to giving serious attention to the highlighted challenges. They also presented their needs and requests directly to the Minister.

In response, Minister Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali assured the healthcare personnel and hospital officials that, considering the available resources, necessary actions would be taken to address their concerns.
