Inspections Conducted at Private Health Facilities and Food Outlets in Herat, Helmand and Farah Provinces

Officials from the Monitoring and Inspection Departments of the Provincial Public Health Directorates conducted inspections of private health facilities and food outlets in the provincial capitals of Herat, Helmand and Farah. In Herat Province, one pharmacy and one pharmaceutical wholesale outlet were closed for violating health laws and regulations. In addition, 10 boxes of food products were confiscated and transferred to a designated site for disposal.

In Helmand Province, 50 types of medicines were confiscated, and one pharmacy was closed. In Farah Province, 10 clinics were also closed for violating health regulations.
