A drug prevention and public awareness program was conducted for more than 700 students at Hakim Sanaee High School in Ghazni Province
The program, organized by the 50-bed Addiction Treatment Hospital and public awareness officials of the Ghazni Public Health Directorate, provided participants with information on the importance of awareness, the role of youth in shaping a healthier future, the importance of preventing addiction, the factors contributing to substance abuse, the role of families and peers in drug prevention, ways to address social risks, and the adverse effects of addiction on individuals and society.
School officials and teachers welcomed the program and described such initiatives as effective in preventing drug abuse.
