Afghan Health Minister conducts a meeting with Mufti Naimul Haq Haqqani at his office

His Excellency Dr Qalandar Ebad, the Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, conducted a meeting with the honourable Mufti Naimul Haq Haqqani, the Head of the Media Centre, at his office.

This meeting, held on Tuesday, the 24th of January, delved into crucial aspects such as the importance of accurate information, media coordination, the significance of the media, timely dissemination of information to the public, and the intersection between media and public health. Discussions also encompassed the efficient transmission of health information and messages from the Ministry of Public Health.

His Excellency Dr Qalandar Ebad elucidated the pivotal role of the media in disseminating accurate and timely information. He emphasized the Ministry's noteworthy achievements in recent years, stressing the responsibility to convey news and reports that are factual and substantiated. He underscored the people's right to receive genuine and accurate information promptly.

Conversely, the honourable Mufti Naimul Haq Haqqani expressed appreciation for the Ministry of Public Health's activities in the media sector. He acknowledged the Ministry's proactive and timely provision of health information, accomplishments, and achievements. Recognizing the importance of sharing public health information and awareness messages, he commended the Ministry for effectively communicating with the public.
