Two Meeting Auditoriums Inaugurated and 60 Healthcare Workers Trained in BLS/ACLS by MoPH

Two meeting auditoriums for the Ministry of Public Health’s Capacity Building Directorate were inaugurated, and 60 healthcare workers received a three-day BLS/ACLS training.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister for Health Services, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani; Chief of Staff Sheikh Mohammad Tahir Halim; Director of Capacity Building Mujeeb-ur-Rahman Mamundzai; representatives of WADAN

Organization, healthcare workers, and other officials.

The Deputy Minister for Health Services, described such training programs as essential for life-saving and timely professional decision-making in emergencies, and emphasized the delivery of effective health services in line with international standards.

H.E. Haqqani pledged to further accelerate efforts toward developing a professional workforce, providing standardized training, and aligning with international standards to make the country’s health system more standardized and effective.

The Chief of Staff also expressed appreciation for the implementation of the training program and the construction of the two auditoriums by the Directorate, and emphasized organizing similar training initiatives in the future.

The Director of Capacity Building, Mujeeb-ur-Rahman Mamundzai, stated that two meeting halls for the Directorate were handed over for use with financial support from the World Health Organization, each with a seating capacity of 40 participants.

He added that, with financial support from WADAN Organization, a series of BLS/ACLS training programs for healthcare workers has been launched, through which 60 health personnel have been trained so far.

 

Over the past year, the Directorate has provided various capacity-building training programs to 10,500 healthcare workers, and the series of training is still ongoing.
